"The following pages contain all my various blogs and critical comment since December 2012.
Some are serious, some light-hearted and some downright facetious.
I was recently asked why I inflict my opinions on other people. The answer is simple. Because I can. Because I see a society in ethical decline and the questions I raise are important to me. Perhaps, just perhaps, you might agree with me. If you don't, that's your God given and constitutionally held right. I hope you write to me and tell me why I'm wrong.
But if you do agree with me, I'd like to hear from you - but more importantly - I'd like you to get out there and talk about it. Draw your own line in the sand and make your own stand against the scourge of moral relativism.
Why do I inflict my opinions on you - because deep down - we all care?
I'm waiting to see how they deal with the Olympic Aussie athlete (male ) but ID's as a female and is competing as a female. Great commentary John,
The mind boggles how this particular nonsense slipped through the system - herein a once proud swimming nation now reduced to an international embarrassment.
Meanwhile it seems Obama has had his pants pulled down by Putin in the Middle East.
Thanks Fred. Not a good look in his underdaks! Just like his Foreign Policy - very Thin!

The Australian community is in for a world of long overdue pain. It is wholly its own fault for which I have nil sympathy.

Thanks indeed for the comment. I do agree that we badly need to 'clean out the swamp'. Trump certainly stirred those fetid waters.

I agree with the general thrust of your comments but the Australian community believes the governments can deliver without pain and there will be a lot of pain up ahead.

Nice job on the essay John, but regardless of his positions, Dutton is too much a cretin of the past, he also looks like the walking dead. We don't need more career politicians, we need a Trump.
