Greens Reveal their Fascist Credentials
Whilst most MPs choose to take a few days break over the Christmas-New Year period, the Greens, following a meeting of their gauleiters at Parliament House, chose to unveil their new look election platform. Dutifully reported by the media in a traditional slow news week, Acting Greens Leader Adam Bandt promised a new policy platform with "fewer specific policies, and more aims and principles” [ABC New 27/12/12]. Stripped of its spin, Bandt promised that policy would, in future, be determined by Parliamentarians.
Desperate to conceal their actual agenda and to broaden their electoral appeal the Greens have actually revealed their true Fascist credentials videlicet electioneering by slogan and government by executive fiat. A nasty little man in Europe successfully trialled this tactic in the 1930s.
Indeed, there are many striking similarities between the National Socialists and the Greens, for example, both were/are:
- Cadre parties
- Represented at their core extremist elements of society
- Strictly intolerant of opposing views
- Resent media scrutiny of their affairs
- Keen to regulate the media
- Masters of propaganda
- Quick to unleash their thugs/protesters to intimidate their opponents
- Preoccupied with deviant sexuality
Dangerously, the Greens are a political force that appeals to a divergent group of the electorate.
Firstly, its cadre class of hard-core green left environmentalists; nether-worlders; anarchists and crypto-revolutionaries, can always be relied upon as the party’s Schutzstaffel bully boys.
Its cadre leadership group might be described as the inner-urban latte-sippers, full of rage against the ALP’s sell-out to middle Australia, and for whom climate change; the SBS; bi-lingual-sex and the browning of Australia are the important matters of the moment.
Then, the most dangerous class of all, are the muddle-headed spinsters, prating churchmen and the dim-witted petite-bourgeoisie full of peace, love and happiness who wouldn’t recognise a policy platform if they fell off one. It is to these credulous cretins that the Greens hold a special appeal.
As one commentator to this blog pithily observed “Democracy is not about equal votes about someone's guilt or some scientific theory by people who have no idea. Expertise can't be replaced by uneducated opinion”. Amen to that.
Suffice it to say, that any political party that seeks power without preparing to tell its prospective voters what it is going to do with that power, deserves to be struck off the register. Period.
